Baker’s Quarry is Granted Approval for Development Consent

RWC is pleased to announce that Macquarie Valley Rock and Sand Pty Ltd has been granted development consent for the Baker’s Quarry. The Project was approved by the Western Regional Planning Panel on 6 July 2023.

The Quarry is located on Tantitha Road, southeast of Narromine, and is approved to extract and process up to 100,000 tonnes of granite and diorite material each year.

The Quarry will be a key source of high-quality hard rock products, including aggregates, railway ballast, road base, and general fill material, for infrastructure and construction projects in Narromine and surrounding Local Government Areas.
