Summary
For over 30 years, R.W. Corkery & Co have provided expert consulting services to the owners and operators of the Kables Sand Quarry preparing high quality annual reporting and monitoring documents for the site. Our longstanding relationship has allowed us to develop a comprehensive understanding of its specific environmental needs and constraints including implementation of best practice water monitoring methodologies enabling Hanson to monitor water quality prior to discharge events ensuring risks are mitigated before discharge.
Background
Since 1987, R.W. Corkery & Co. have assisted Kables Transport Pty Ltd, and now Hanson Construction Material Pty Ltd, to undertake annual environmental reporting for the Kables Quarry. These activities include the following.
- Regular analysis of water quality monitoring results.
- Collation, review and analysis of environmental monitoring results against historical trends and established criteria values.
- Reporting and publication of environmental monitoring data in accordance with management plan commitments and Environment Protection Licence requirements.
- Environmental analysis reports upon request (e.g. Hydrogeological Review).
In addition, our team have also developed management plans for the site and continues to complete regular updates in accordance with site and government agency requirements.
