Supply And Demand Profile Of Geological Construction Materials For The Greater Sydney Region

R.W. Corkery & Co. was commissioned to prepare the report of the study by the NSW Department of Planning Industry and Environment (DPIE) as respected consultants to the mining and quarrying industry with in-depth Knowledge of the Sydney and NSW construction materials landscape developed over 40 years.
The DPIE commissioned the review to inform strategic planning by the NSW Government for transport including freight and distribution, extractive resource recognition and protection, and land use allocated in the Greater Sydney Region.
Rob Corkery, founder and Principle Environmental Consultant with RW Corkery & Co started the studies efforts to “ascertain accurate estimates of the quantities of the construction materials needed for housing, roads and infrastructure until 2036 – including sources of supply and the transport routes needed to deliver the materials”.
